Its smooth, buttery consistency allows the metallic flakes to glide effortlessly across the nail and lay evenly for a rich, high-reflection finish inspired by the appearance of hand-applied metal leaf. Blue Tanzanite brings a jewel-toned blue metallic finish to the signature Glitz effect, creating luminous dimension without the texture of traditional loose glitter.

The concentrated metallic flakes can be manipulated and layered to create anything from delicate accents to fuller metallic coverage. Ideal for metallic backgrounds, French details, gradients, striping, abstract accents, and intricate nail art.

Glitz Blue Tanzanite is part of the Gel Play® Art Gel System. Compatible across Akzéntz® gel systems when used as directed.

Recommended Use

Glitz Blue Tanzanite can be applied over cured gel colour or enhancements to create metallic backgrounds, accents, gradients, French details, striping, or fuller metal leaf effects. The placement and concentration of the metallic flakes can be adjusted depending on the desired result.

Step 1:
Before application, thoroughly stir Glitz Blue Tanzanite to ensure the metallic flakes are evenly distributed throughout the clear gel base.

Step 2:
Complete the service according to the appropriate Akzéntz® system protocol. Apply and cure the desired base colour when using Blue Tanzanite as a layered effect.

Step 3:
Using an appropriate Akzéntz® art brush, apply Glitz Blue Tanzanite in a thin, controlled layer. Manipulate the metallic flakes as desired to create scattered accents, gradients, detailed designs, or more concentrated metallic coverage.

Step 4:
Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED lamp. If greater concentration or additional detailing is desired, apply another thin layer and cure again.

Step 5:
Complete the service with the appropriate Akzéntz® top coat and cure according to the top coat instructions.
