One of the earliest soak-off gel systems, Options™ established a new category of gel products focused on controlled removal and natural nail protection.

This formulation allows both soak-off and file-off removal, allowing adaptability across service types, and client needs. Brush-applied, allowing for precise control and variation in technique.

The Options™ Colour gel system includes a selection of over 200 self-levelling colour gels, designed to form a protective overlay on natural nails or enhancements. Options™ Colours apply with a buttery-smooth, streak-free application that boasts excellent coverage.

Recommended Use

Step 1: Nail Preparation
Begin by thoroughly prepping the natural nails: cleanse with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe, push back or remove cuticles, and buff the nail plate removing all shine, we recommend a 180 grit file.

Step 2: Base Application
Apply a thin, even layer of Options™ Base to the nail using your choice of gel brush. Start near the cuticle, and pull the product down toward the free-edge. Do not touch the skin or cuticles. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Colour Application
Select your desired Options™ Colour. Using a clean gel brush apply the colour by placing the gel brush just below the cuticle, gently push the brush up to the cuticle without touching it, and pull the colour down to coat the entire surface of the nail. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 4: Second Colour Layer
Repeat the colour application process for a second coat if required. For advanced nail artists, we recommend using a fine liner brush to apply the colour as close to the cuticle as possible without making contact, for a perfected look. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 5: Finish
Complete the service by applying Options™ Clear or Crystal Clear for a long lasting glossy finish. Cure for 30 seconds, then remove the sticky layer with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe. If a tack-free top gloss is preferred, use Akzéntz Shine-On. A matte effect can also be achieved by using Akzéntz Matte-On.
